The home session

A home maternity session is not a lesser session. It is another session. The frame is not neutral: it already carries the beginning story. The living room sofa, the window filtering morning light, the baby room being arranged, the kitchen table. All these places become decors. They are not chosen — they are there, they tell something, and that something is what we photograph.

For those wanting a more intimate, personal session, who do not recognize themselves in a studio setting. For late pregnancies where travel becomes uncomfortable. For those wanting to include older children without the pressure of an unknown place. For those wanting to integrate the nursery, the crib, the first purchased items.

Before the session, a quick scouting (via photos sent or video call) identifies available light, most photographic rooms, working angles. You do not have to tidy extraordinarily: a quick airing, a few cleared surfaces, curtains open for natural light. Equipment brought is light: a body, two lenses, sometimes a fill light.

30 effective minutes of shooting, like in studio. The session spans several rooms: master bedroom, living room, sometimes kitchen or baby room. You change outfit between two series. Partner or elders are integrated naturally, without staging.

Home session is available within 20 km of Limoges, travel included in formulas. Beyond, mileage quote on request. Nearby towns (Couzeix, Panazol, Isle, Feytiat, Le Palais-sur-Vienne, Condat-sur-Vienne, Saint-Just-le-Martel, Verneuil-sur-Vienne, Aixe-sur-Vienne) are all included.
