Preparing your session

The session is prepared. Not as an effort, but as care. The choice of outfits, colors and makeup directly influences the image rendering. This guide collects the recommendations heard most often at the studio. None is mandatory: these are markers for those wondering where to start.

Choose flowing outfits that hug the curve without constraining it. Long lace dresses, linen or muslin drapes, ribbed bodysuits in neutral tones are safe choices. Avoid high-contrast patterns, large logos, digital prints. The studio offers several session dresses — you can also bring your favorites. Three to four outfits are enough for a 30-minute session.

Skin tones, beige, ivory, soft terracotta, faded brick, sage green, slate grey, navy blue. These palettes age well and do not date the image. Pure white also works well for a luminous rendering. Avoid neon, opaque deep black, and overly bright colors that catch light at the expense of your face.

Natural makeup, lightly tinted lips, defined brows without excess, matte skin without freezing. Avoid foundations too light (mask effect) and shimmery highlighters (unpredictable reflections). Professional makeup can be arranged nearby. For sensitive skin, hydrate the day before.

Discreet, chosen, intentional. A ring, an inherited bracelet, a scarf, a white sheet, dried flowers, a veil. These elements should not impose themselves but gently enrich the image. Bring them on the day; we decide together which to integrate.

Drink plenty of water. Rest. Hang your outfits to avoid creases. Eat normally: the session is not an effort, and not being hungry helps you feel relaxed. If you come from a neighboring town, plan some margin on the road and a parking spot near the studio.
